Privacy Policy
This policy explains, in plain English, how we handle your personal data. If anything is unclear, email us at info@enorus.com and we will be happy to explain.
1. Who we are
This website (enorus.com) is operated by Enorus Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 16385871), with its registered office at 17–19 Blackburn Road, BB5 1HF, United Kingdom. Enorus Ltd builds bespoke custom dashboards for UK small businesses.
For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), Enorus Ltd is the “controller” of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us about any privacy matter at info@enorus.com.
2. The information we collect
We only collect what we need to run our business and this site:
- Information you send us directly. If you email us, or book a call through our scheduling provider, we receive your name, email address, and anything you choose to tell us about your business or enquiry.
- Account information. If you are an existing client with access to a dashboard, we process the login details and account data needed to give you access. (See our Cookie Policy for how login is kept active in your browser.)
- Technical and usage data. Like almost every website, our servers and our hosting/security provider automatically log basic technical information — your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request — to keep the site secure and working.
We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not currently use analytics cookies. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
Under UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis for using your data. Ours are:
- To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote — our legitimate interest in dealing with messages you send us, and taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
- To deliver our services and manage your account — performance of our contract with you.
- To keep the site secure and working — our legitimate interest in protecting our website and visitors.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations — compliance with a legal obligation.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run the site and our business, and only as far as needed:
- Our hosting & security provider (Cloudflare) — delivers and protects the website; it processes traffic, including IP addresses, on our behalf.
- Google Fonts — the site loads fonts from Google’s servers, so your browser’s request (including your IP address) reaches Google when a page loads.
- Our scheduling provider (Calendly) — if you book a call, the details you enter are processed by Calendly under its own privacy policy.
- Our email provider — receives and stores the emails you send us.
We may also disclose data if required by law, or to protect our legal rights.
5. International transfers
Some of the providers above are based outside the UK (for example, in the United States). Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the provider’s appropriate safeguards — such as UK ‘adequacy’ arrangements or standard contractual clauses — to keep your data protected to UK standards.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it: enquiry emails for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and our ongoing relationship; client and accounting records for as long as required by law (generally up to six years); and technical logs for a short period for security purposes.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data, where we have no need to keep it;
- ask us to restrict or object to how we use your data;
- ask for a copy of certain data in a portable format; and
- withdraw consent at any time, where we relied on consent.
To exercise any of these, email info@enorus.com. We will respond within one month.
8. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
